It is illegal to release moles once caught as they are classified a pest species in the UK
Due to the fact that moles must eat approximately 3/4 of there own body weight in worms per day just to survive if you were to release them the would most likely starve!

How we work: each job is 2 x trips, one to place traps, the second to check traps
When we place traps we mark the location of each trap with a red maker, once we have trapped the mole we remove all traps and makers.

The first sign of moles is the all too familiar mole hill`s, there are two main reasons for moles to move to new ground or to return to a garden they had been cleared from in the past. The 1st is the search for food. The 2nd is young Moles leaving home in search of a new territory. The problems start when the mole decides to make his home within your garden, land etc. Your well-manicured lawn will be transformed into a lunar landscape, the molehill then becomes a danger firstly as a tripping hazard and then a danger to machinery that can be damaged as a result of hitting the molehills. If you keep horses or other livestock then the dangers are even more serious.
All the moles that we trap are taken away and place in a freezer, they are then later collected by two local hawks, owl rescue centres.
All the traps we use are legal under the Wildlife and Countryside act 2006, they are Humane and efficient and approved by Natural England
